My Favorite Spring Looks

My favorite thing about coming home, besides seeing my friends, is the freedom of my imagination. I have a moment to take a step back, look at my life, sort things out, and do a lot of dreaming. Imaginations are truly beautiful.
On a very different note, after browsing the many magazines, catalogs, and stores filled with the fashions of Spring 2010, I have come to the realization that there is something about this seasons styles that absolutely scream ME. It seems like all of the fashions I have always loved are finally collaborating. Boyish styles, cardigans, floral, delicate fabrics, frills, animal prints, tribal pieces, neutral colors, khaki, Indian looks, pastel shades of pink, hair accessories galore, fun patterns, nature inspired looks, sunny yellows, boho-originals, hair braids, sparkles, and lots of fun accessories are the fundamentals this season. The styles range from safari, to little girl playing dress up, to zippers leather and studs, to boarding school, to stepford wives, to southern chic, to modest ladylikeness, and Caribbean. This seasons looks include influences from all time periods and are some of the most multi-cultural looks thus far. It’s all about looking effortless and expressive. Loves it!
