I Ship Them Like Fedex

I did a similiar post a while back but I'm in a mood to write (rare) and I am completely in "Merlin Mode" right now which clued me in to write about my total adoration for Arthur and Guinevere which then told me I should do a blog post about all my favorite pairings on in TV/Films.Merlin:
It's no secret that I am a bit of geek when it comes to British History - I've written about it before so I wont bore you with the same ramblings but because of my love of all things British I've grown to love their show Merlin and one pairing in particular: Arthur and Gwen. If you're familiar with the legend Arthur and Guinevere were married but she betrays Arthur with his friend and best Knight: Lancelot. Unlike other portrayals of the Arthurian Legend, Arthur and Gwen are actually in love, a heart tugging, adorable and just plain awesome love that is secret until the last episode (eeek!!). I adore them both. Period. Arthur as always been my favorite character and so when they hinted with a romance between him and the lowly servant Guinevere I squeeled and could barely wait for season 2 where we got 2 gorgeous kisses from the pair. Now in Series 3 and after Episode 10's in all its amazing-ness, I ship these two more and more. The way Arthur was prepared to give up his rights to the throne of Camelot so Gwen wasnt sentenced to death, the way he would leave with her when she was banished - le sigh -, it's such a fairytale romance but I am a total sucker for cliche and Knights in shining armor, its true. Episode 10 of Merlin just put Arthur and Gwen on another scale, they are more than epic and so for the show Merlin, Arthur and Guinevere will always be my one true pairing and favorite ship of the show.
The Vampire Diaries:
I'm a total "Team Stefan" girl, it's true and so, naturally, I love Stefan and Elena. I've never seen the allure between Damon and Elena until now, I always thought he was just too badass and awesome to be tied to someone as boring as Elena. That being said, now I'm loving Elena and Damon together and am totally shipping them, after every episode I just love him more and more especially after episode 8 where he confesses his love for her. But then he makes her forget ah! why did she have to forget! Elena brings out a sweetness and kindness in Damon and he brings out another side of her as well. I never realized how much I shipped them until the last episode where he kissed Rose, I then started yelling and cursing at the tv. It doesnt seem fair that Elena gets all these guys fighting over her, she was kind of boring to me at first and forever getting herself kidnapped and acting as the Damsel in Distress but now I think shes a total bad ass. I just want to see Elena and Damon together just once then she can go back to Stefan. Also recently I'm kinda liking the whole Bonnie/Jeremy thing. I've never been a fan of either of them so maybe thats why I like them together? Oh and wtf is with newbie Rose who's accent just sounds weird. Is she meant to be British? I'm confused. Now don't get me wrong Stefan and Elena are and will always be my favorite pairing on VD.
True Blood:
I've only recently started watching True Blood but I'm absolutely obsessed. From day one Bill and Sookie have always been my favorite pair. Not that Eric isn't one fine piece of man candy and Sookie and him would be a hot couple but the love between Bill and Sookie is what keeps me hooked on the show. They are the perfect match for each other, but I wish the writers would just stop playing with them: one moment their together the next their not although I do love the tension between Eric and Sookie. Bill and Sookie... that is what keeps the fans, although I would be lying if I said I didn't watch to see Alexander Skarsgard in all his gorgeousness.
