Its been a while

What lame excuse can I come up with this time? As you can probably tell I haven't been updating recently. I don't even know why I'm blogging now, I've been thinking about getting rid of this thing entirely, but then I waver and then think "Hmmm... "maybe next week". Next week rolls around and I've done nada. Lazy Alyssa? So, what can I write about? I'm excited for Christmas - which is strange considering last year I wasn't all that amped. I'm just going to go on about random things and hope inspiration surfaces. So I've finally checked, edited and rechecked through my complete manuscript and am now busy working on my synopsis which is actually a lot harder than i anticipated. Im in the mood to do some creative writing, maybe a little poetry, riddles... that sort of thing. I can normally only write like that though when its late at night and everything's finally silent and settled. Maybe I'll have a go at that tonight and see what I come up with. Right now I'm having a strange addiction to the band Muse, I've got them playing on my itunes as I type. Odd. Their really not my usual type of music but I'm growing to love them. I really dont want to abandon this blog, really I dont. When I click back and have a look at all my old posts I'm surprised I found so much to write about - I guess the novelty was still very much in play back then. Hopefully it'll resurface. Even twitter is seeing less and less from me, I just dont see the point of documenting my entire life. So for now I guess Alyssas back, send out the flags and get ready (fingers crossed) for a whole host of posts from yours truly...wow I love my optimism.
